Short History:
Amber was born into a rich family, like super rich. Her parents owned twenty different cars, each and had many private houses rich. She liked living like that. She was born into a family of 5. Two parents and two older brothers, twin brothers to be exact. She was happy with her family. Her brothers were four years older than her and she was their world. She was always so bubbly and happy when she was younger. She worked hard at doing things like school work. When she was six she learned about her powers of controlling the water, and the abilities to make it rain in a little area around her. Her Parents were so proud it seemed. But from there things just got bad. She was always coming in soaking wet and getting punished for using her powers. She didn’t understand why they all of a sudden hated her. Her brothers comforted her every day telling her it would all be okay.
When she was sixteen her brothers went off to a party seeing as they were the popular type and she was more of a small group of friend’s type. She watched them leave that anight not knowing that it was going to be the last time she saw them. At about one in the morning that was when her life changed for the worst. Cops came to the door at one in the morning Informing her, and her parents that their twin sons were in the hospital and in critical condition and in surgery seeing as they were in a massive car crash. This devastated little Amber and she pulled her shocked parents to the car saying “We Have to go, we have to go Mom and dad!” She was more than frantic.
When they arrived at the hospital it was crunch time. There was a low percentile that they would even make it. Their blood alcohol level was way above the legal limit, so they were at some fault for their own future. Amber was in the room the whole night holding their hands and vowed never to speak again if they didn’t pull through. When morning came it was just too late and they ended up passing away. This broke Amber so much that she stopped talking like she said she would, she stopped practicing her elemental abilities and she even stopped going to classes. She was just spiraling downward. She felt like it was her fault for not telling them to be careful, not to drink. But she was only sixteen, she didn’t really know what to say, to twenty year olds to make them stop being self-destructive. It was just something that she couldn’t shake.
After all the funeral arrangements, and everything things started to get better. She started to talk only to her closest friend and when she moved away that all stopped. She stopped talking for good. That is when she started to develop the ability to project thoughts of hers into other people’s minds. It was a convenient for her to say the least. Though financially, everything went down the drain when she turned 18. A legal adult but still lived with her parents seeing as she was still going to high school. She was in her graduating year. Things got so bad her parents did the only thing they thought they could do and sold their daughter into the slave trading business. She was sold for a hefty price. She cried the whole time leaving her family, friends and home behind..
